How Well Do You Know the English Language?

As I struggled to come up with a topic to blog about concerning the book I dislike very much, I decided against blogging about the book.  I decided I would give my fellow AP English 12 students a test and see how well you know the English language.

How did you do on the test?
I feel as if scoring well on this test might be a little difficult, but do not worry! Just take the next AP English 12 grade you get, compare it to this, and you'll feel real good about yourself in AP English! I am simply trying to boost your confidence.  Plus, now you have some fun facts to share at awkward family holiday gatherings!

  1. I just do not really see how I would know any of these at all. I would have failed the test, but I scrolled down to cheat just because you told me not to. However, I will definitely be sure to share this over the holidays with my cousin who cheated his way through high school and is now in college to become a teacher. I am sure that he will ace it.

  2. Jillian, I felt really proud that I knew the answer to three of them! Maybe I'm nerdy or something, but I really enjoyed all of these fun facts! Unfortunately, I did not see this post until after all of my awkward family holiday gatherings, but I will try to remember them and share them when those too-well-known awkward family silences come along.
